FOCUS. Recently, The Lord gave me this Word.
Focus NOT on your performance, your problems or your piety. Focus NOT on your fears, your flaws or your faux pas. Focus NOT on the destruction that lays waste globally and in every sphere of society right now.
But FOCUS solely on Jesus’s Love for you; His faithfulness, His devotion, His Sovereignty. Focus on His perfect work, His cross, His Victory. Focus on His righteousness, His faith, His grace.
“Long before He laid down earth’s foundations, he had you in mind, had settled on YOU as the FOCUS of His love.” (Ephesians 1:3-6 msg)
YOU are the focus of His Love. You cannot pour forth what you have not freely received. His number one priority and purpose for you is always intimacy with Him. To Know Him more, see Him more and be with Him more is your experiential eternal life here and now.
Now more than ever it’s time to keep vigilant watch over your heart by fixing your gaze onto Jesus only; who He is, what He’s done and what He’s doing.
There’s a lot going on in our country and in our world right now. We are all busy fighting for our rights, freedoms, justice and against the powers of darkness. I’m an intercessor for it.
However, when we live FROM His love, letting Jesus be our Servant King (supplying us first with His constant Shalom and supernatural success), we’ll walk and “war” from His Freedom, His Rest and His Victory instead of FOR it.
He’s already won remember? And you are positioned in Him far above every principality and power of oppression.
But what the devil wants more than anything is to distract and shake you internally from your high place in Christ where you are seated, sheltered and surrounded by your Father’s love, protection and favor.
Resist the devil by casting every care, agitation and worry on Him. Whether it’s your family, your health or your concern for the nation, see it as finished! Cease striving and enter into peace.
When you stop trying and start and trusting, His grace (UNEARNED provision), like water, will flow to your lowest places.
The only way to get filled with the fullness of God, have effortless faith and feel His power touch every area of your life is to FOCUS only on Jesus and His love for you…
