2 Corinthians 5:21 for 5/21/2021…
Beloved, you died with Christ. Your old man is buried and gone. Your past was purged. You are not who you think you “feel” you are. You are the righteousness of God in Christ.
You are not simply “covered” in His perfection, you are entirely of a new purpose and kind. Your sins are not hidden somewhere to be highlighted later. They are forever forgiven and forgotten, never to be found again!
You have the very nature of Christ Himself now. His identity is your identity now. You are known and seen before your Father as Jesus is now (1 John 4:17b).
This is not a fairytale. This is not a feeling. This is your reality. Your new nature having the very DNA, right standing, Spirit of Sonship and favor of Jesus Himself is your reality.
His blood was your payment. His resurrection was your receipt. You cannot sin your way out of His righteousness. It is a gift. Likewise, you cannot earn by your own “doings” your own righteousness. It can only be received.
Believer, faith is believing this truth. The righteous shall live by faith. Today, choose to see yourself the way your Heavenly Father sees you. And like a magnet, everything else will be attracted to you; all else will be added abundantly. The blessings of God and His tangible presence will be drawn to you.
Stop believing the lie that you have to “die to self” in order to live more for God. You were crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, you are fully alive in Him now, living from His endless love, allowing Him to live through you.
Walk in your union with Jesus by trusting Him and all He’s done and the grace of God will no longer be nullified in your life, it will be magnified and multiplied! (Galatians 2:20,21).
