Another Opportunity To See Him And Trust

“Taken aback, Jesus said, “I’ve yet to come across this kind of SIMPLE TRUST in Israel, the very people who are supposed to know all about God and how He works. This man is the vanguard of many outsiders who will soon be coming from all directions—streaming in from the east, pouring in from the west, sitting down at God’s kingdom banquet alongside Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Then those who grew up ‘in the faith’ but had no faith will find themselves out in the cold, outsiders to grace and wondering what happened.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭8:10 MSG‬‬

Jesus is always and forever looking for simple childlike trust. Period. This happens through the process of a growing and intimate relationship with Him…that He initiates, but you respond to. It’s a response to His love, His goodness, His faithfulness, His grace, His gift of righteousness. It’s a response to His cross, His conquering death, His resurrection Victory.

Whether it’s what’s going on with our current national (global really) situation or a personal heart matter…If it matters to you, it matters to Him. But from every place that “looks dead,” you have the opportunity to see more of who He really IS, to know Him more and trust Him deeper. So that when your belief trumps your unbelief, you will see the glory of God and experience Jesus as The Resurrection and The Life (John 11).

Beloved, today, hear Jesus ask you once again, “Will you look beyond the natural and instead look to ME? Come, hear My heart, see My perspective and feel My love. You rest. I’ll work. For the battle belongs to Me.”

This is my prayer for you today:

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of revelation to know Him through your deepening intimacy with Him. I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling— I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:17-20‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Blessed are you who believe.

Resting In His Love,

Annalee Reyes
