Every fear we have ultimately has to do with the fear of death. But until you have heard the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ and to the extent that you believe it and put your trust in Him, you will not be able to let His perfect love cast out that fear and root you in His peace.
Death and every form of it (sickness, lack, condemnation, pain, etc.) is an enemy of God.
BUT JESUS!
But Jesus, The Living One, took your death upon Himself, buried it in the grave [conquering it] and raised you to new and everlasting life in Him!
For the believer, there is no more death. You live in the source of all Life; in the secret place of the Most High where you can trust He covers you with His feathers and no evil will befall you…
Where you can believe that incredible good is going to come out of the bad because your Father IS profound goodness.
This doesn’t mean you will never “feel” fear or have to deal with stuff. But remember, feeling fear on a regular basis has to do with punishment.
“There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love].”
1 John 4:18 AMP
BUT JESUS!
But Jesus took your punishment at the cross so you could take His perfect standing before your Abba (Daddy God) just by putting your trust in Him! He is pleased with you now, as you are!
Beloved, your Savior took every curse at the cross (including Covid-19) so you wouldn’t have to. And His plea to you this very moment is, “Fear Not My beloved! My Love for you has already won this battle! Now relax; find your peace in My finished work and enjoy your safety. I AM all you need!”
Today, I pray you would be inundated with His Presence so you can trample on those scorpions and snakes and over all the powers of the enemy by simply letting go, receiving His undeserved grace and resting in His endless love! (Psalm 91, Luke 10:19,20)
“By embracing death Jesus sets free those who live their entire lives in bondage to the tormenting dread of death…This is why he had to be a Man and take hold of our humanity in every way. He made us his brothers and sisters and became our merciful and faithful King-Priest before God; as the One who removed our sins to make us one with him. He suffered and endured every test and temptation, so that he can help us every time we pass through the ordeals of life.” Hebrews 2:15, 17-18 TPT
Resting In His Love,
