“They lifted up their eyes and saw no one except Yeshua [God is Salvation] alone.”Matthew 17:8 NMV
This verse is one I meditate on often. It embodies the point, the purpose…of everything. Jesus is Christmas.
His incarnation. His cross. His resurrection.
It is imperative we see The Son of God emptied of His diety to get dirty and die..for each of us individually as if we were the only one alive. To see the babe who cries out, “Come and see what I have done for you!”
But it is vital we see Him now as the risen, glorified King of kings and Lord of lords, conqueror of death; Victor of all.
Why you ask?
Because His glory is a sign to you: that through His “dirty” in the manger and on the Mount of His cross you were cleansed. You have been justified, acquitted and deemed spotless in your Father’s eyes. The Star testified to the Lord our Righteousness (Jeremiah 23:6).
This One is now clothed in Light, girded with a golden sash to serve you His supply, eyes aflame with the fire of His unstoppable love for you.
He was raised for one reason only: BECAUSE He made it ALL right. He made you right with God. Every sin purged, dead and gone.
“Who was betrayed and put to death because of our misdeeds and was raised to secure our justification (our acquittal), [making our account balance and absolving us from all guilt before God].”
Romans 4:25 AMPC
And this is the way of peace for any who sit in the valley of the shadow of death (Luke 1:79). This is the exceedingly good news of His joy; that YOU were the joy set before Him and are now His pleasure; His pride and joy.
Wherever you find yourself this Christmas, whatever the condition of your heart… Christmas came for you. Christmas came to conceive new life under the winter of your weariness. Christmas came to hold and heal you; to wrap you in His whiter than white robe of righteousness and garment of grace. To have a real relationship with you.
His arrival trumpets, “ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you–rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!”Isaiah 60:1 AMPC
Merry Christmas!
I am praying His manifest presence to infiltrate your heart and home in unexpected and extravagant ways!
Resting In His Love,
Annalee Reyes
