Rosh Hashanah 5785; The Window Of Profuse Grace

The Jewish feasts and high holy days are chock-full of revelation for the church and are interconnected with God’s appointed seasons and timeline of events on Earth.

Every year, for Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year, literally “head of the year”) the Lord gives me a revelatory and encouraging Word to share. The need to hear what our Father is speaking has never been more important due to the weightiness of this transition time in history.

As we make our way into a new Kingdom Era, we will be witnessing great chaos and tumult. Many of you have probably already discerned the acceleration of the turning over of the money-changers’ tables. It will only increase from here.

When a worldwide religious Babylonian system is being dismantled and uprooted, we will see rubble and ruins. And yet it is necessary for the rebuilding and the dawning of a new day.

In this moment of time, the Lord of Time and Space has allowed this great shaking, both in our personal lives as well as globally to lay hold of our hearts and to make an urgent call for us to seek the Light of His Face when hemmed in by darkness.

That’s why this Rosh Hashanah, 5785, will be known as The Window of His Profuse Grace. For it is in a time of intense warfare and hardships we need to be in complete dependence on Him. Only then can we freely receive His unearned favor, supernatural supply, divine protection, unique provisions, unexpected leadings and healing presence.

5785 is a powerful number. Every Hebrew letter is not only a pictograph but has a number value assigned to it. The number 5 is the value of the Hebrew letter “hey.” It is the fifth letter of the Hebrew alphabet.

Why does this all matter?

Because the number 5 is the Biblical number for God’s grace (His undeserved goodness, kindness and faithfulness). And its Hebrew letter hey is a picture of an open window. What comes through an open window? Light and Wind. The letter hey is also known to represent the Breath or Spirit of God…and of course points to Yeshua (Jesus, our Savior and Messiah). We are to behold Him!

The first mention of the word “window” in the Bible is in Genesis 6:16. The Lord gave Noah precise instructions on how to build the ark. One of those was to make a window about 18 inches from the top. The Hebrew word that translates as window is ṣōhar.

What’s so beautiful about this word is that the definition isn’t a window the way you or I would see one in a home. It actually means “noon or midday” (the brightest part of the day when the sun is straight overhead).

‘You are to make an opening for daylight in the ark eighteen inches below its roof. Put a door in its side; and build it with lower, second and third decks.’

B’resheet (Gen) 6:16 CJB

This is the exact hour Jesus was nailed to the cross; the very moment the world became dark for three hours while the Light of the World absorbed the entirety of humanity’s sin, judgement and curses. All so He could make us shine like the noonday Son in His righteousness when He raised us from the dead!

“He will appear as your righteousness, as sure as the dawning of a new day. He will manifest as your justice, as sure and strong as the noonday sun.” Psalm 37:6 TPT

Actually, the definition of the root word of ṣōhar (ṣāhar) is “to glisten from oil being pressed.” Jesus was crushed as the olive to release Holy Spirit, His healing and His anointing to us! Everything points to Him!

The year 5785 begins and ends with the number 5 (grace). If you add 5+7+8+5…you get 25…which is 5X5…that’s five times the grace! Benjamin, Joseph’s youngest brother, received five times as much as his brothers during the famine (Genesis 43:34). Benjamin’s name means “son of the right hand.” We who are in Christ are the Benjamin generation!

This is why the Lord told me His grace was going to be profuse; extravagant and bountiful. It took Abraham and Sarah 25 years to see their promise of having a child come to fruition. So 5785 will also be a year of promises fulfilled!

Not only that, if you add the two numbers in the middle (7+8) you get 15. Fifteen is the biblical number for rest. Rest is sandwiched between grace. In other words, rest is at the heart of receiving from Him. Internal rest is one of the greatest gifts Jesus paid for us to have. To rest in Him is to let go, cease striving and be at peace while He works, defends, delivers and brings it all to pass.

Noah’s name means rest. The very first mention of the word grace in the Bible is in Genesis 6:8…”Noah found grace (favor) in the eyes of the Lord.” Rest found grace. Noah was not perfect. But he had a sweet friendship with the Lord, and like Abraham, simply believed the Lord’s Word and received the inheritance.

An open window denotes we are inside looking out and up. We are hidden in Christ, the True Ark. It will be intense around us. But we live in the Resurrected Upper Room where we can see heaven’s realm from His finished work.

Living from our identity in Christ; in intimacy from His love is where untold blessings, wisdom and glorious transformations are made manifest. It is the deeper revelation of Jesus unveiled by Holy Spirit that allows you to see His will and desire to give to you beyond what you can ask or imagine.

During these unprecedented times we will be hedged in for our own protection. But through the Window of Papa’s heart, unprecedented provisions, healings, miracles, and long-awaited answers to prayer are going to pour in. As you surrender all and wait on the Lord, His mighty rushing Spirit Wind will bring dead things to life and fill us with fresh hope and power for the future and the destiny He has for us, our families and this nation! He will be all we need!

Shana Tova And Shalom Shalom!

Resting in His Love,

Annalee Reyes

Jesus has been pursuing you relentlessly all your life. If you’ve never received Jesus Christ as your forgiveness, your Lord and your Savior, you can pray this simple prayer from your heart and become born again, a brand-new creation and child of Daddy God, your loving Father:

“Heavenly Father, Thank you for sending your Son for me. I believe He came to earth to be born in the flesh to die my death on the cross. I believe His blood washed my sins away and completely cleansed me. I believe He redeemed me from every curse by becoming my curse and was raised from the dead because I was declared justified and righteous. Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. I am now fully forgiven! I am a child of God, blessed, favored and incomprehensibly loved. In Jesus Name. Amen!”
