We need the gospel like we need oxygen. But today, because of the influx of information flooding our eye and ear gates, instead of continually hearing the unadulterated gospel of Christ, endless mixture is consumed.
It is the real gospel that sets you free from shame, brings you into wholeness, garrisons your heart, heals your wounds, gives you a sound mind, fills you with internal joy, leads you into intimacy with the Lord, causes you to walk in peace and prosperity and increases the favor of the Father in your life.
In other words, the gospel is THE power of God that quickens or brings to life your body, soul and situation. It is truly His wonder-working Saving Grace resurrecting every area of your life. (See Romans 1:16)
So what is the real gospel then? The answer may seem elementary. It may seem too simple. It may even sound redundant. But more times than not, it’s not being believed. And believing right is the difference between life and death.
The gospel is the proclamation that by the blood of Jesus through His death you have been FULLY, FREELY and FOREVER FORGIVEN; past, present and future! And it is the insanely good news that when Jesus was raised back to life (taking you with Him) it was proof He Himself made you right with God! (Romans 4:25, Ephesians 2:6).
Believing this reality is called faith. You are justified, vindicated and made completely righteous before God AS YOU ARE by simply believing Someone else did for you what you could never do. And you just accept it!
“This gospel unveils a continual revelation of God’s righteousness—a perfect righteousness given to us when we believe. And it moves us from receiving life through faith, to the power of living by faith. This is what the Scripture means when it says: “We are right with God through life-giving faith!”
Romans 1:17 TPT
Now faith comes by hearing and hearing over and over this wonderful Word of Christ and His finished work in making you wholly accepted – not because of anything you do, but because of what He has done! (See Romans 10:17)
The more you hear and trust in this revelation, the more you will experience His presence and undeserved goodness even when you feel you deserve it the least.
Beloved, you have been stamped with Daddy God’s seal of APPROVAL in Christ! The moment you conclude in your heart this is true (especially when your heart and flesh fail you), the more the Shalom wholeness of Jesus will touch every cell, emotion and circumstance; making your deliverance, preservation, health and victory a manifested reality.
The author of the book of Hebrews says the revelation of being made the righteousness of God in Christ is what makes you a mature believer. And that “infants” don’t yet feed on this unveiled reality. (Hebrews 5:11-14)
Child of God, this is not Christian “baby-talk.” This is how warriors walk! When you receive the GIFT of Jesus as your righteousness and His overflowing, unearned grace, you will reign as a king and rule over guilt, curse and sin in life. (See Romans 5:17)
Condemnation will kill you and keep you from closeness with God. But owning His complete forgiveness and flawless innocence will cause you to live face to face with Perfect Love, being filled with His Abundant Life.
So stop letting yourself be moved.
You were healed when He was bruised.
And when you are accused,
Confess your sins have been removed.
Because He is risen, you are approved!
Resting In His Love,

Jesus has been pursuing you relentlessly all your life. If you’ve never received Jesus Christ as your forgiveness, your Lord and your Savior, you can pray this simple prayer from your heart and become born again, a brand new creation and child of Daddy God, your loving Father:
“Heavenly Father, Thank you for sending your Son for me. I believe He came to earth to be born in the flesh to die my death on the cross. I believe His blood washed my sins away and completely cleansed me. I believe He redeemed me from every curse by becoming my curse and was raised from the dead because I was declared justified and righteous. Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. I am now fully forgiven! I am a child of God, blessed, favored and incomprehensibly loved. In Jesus Name. Amen!”
