Feed On His Cross

The day after Thanksgiving, I made my favorite: a leftover turkey sandwich. When I grabbed a square and brought it to my mouth to take a bite, some pieces of turkey flipped out of the bread in the form of a cross.

In that moment, the Lord whispered, “Feed on My cross; chew (meditate, focus) on My finished work.”

Beloved, EVERYTHING goes back to the cross. That’s where your sin, shame, condemnation, guilt, regrets, fear of punishment, fear of the future, rule-keeping, failures, distress, judgement, lack, strife, sicknesses, diseases and death were NAILED to the body of Jesus!

It’s where your old nature was crucified and your struggles from living under the law (performancism) were nullified.

It’s where the blood of Jesus poured fourth with endless power to wash you clean forever, making you the righteousness of God in Him!

It’s where He brought you back into the heart of your Father, to be one with Him in an unbreakable union and in sweet communion forever.

It’s where the floodgates of GRACE gushed open so you could FREELY receive what you don’t deserve from your Savior who is your unchanging SUPPLY.

The cross is where Father gave up His Son who found His rest in laying down His life for you, so you could find your rest and healing in His love.

Every single day, you must go back to the cross and let His finished work be your starting point.

“He canceled out every legal violation we had on our record and the old arrest warrant that stood to indict us. He erased it all—our sins, our stained soul—he deleted it all and they cannot be retrieved! Everything we once were in Adam has been placed onto his cross and nailed permanently there as a public display of cancellation.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:14‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1:18‬ ‭

Resting in His love,

  1. Thank you Precious Child of the Most High God,
He has loved me, (just) as the Father has loved Him; and He instructs me to Abide in His love ( to continue in the Father’s love with Him).

    God bless you and yours!
