The RAINBOW; His Glory Truth

The RAINBOW. While it’s seen both physically and spiritually on two different spectrums, there’s only one truth regarding these hues of Heaven. Today, knowing and believing that truth is the difference between freedom and bondage, life and death.

The first mention of the “the bow” is in Genesis chapter 9 after the flood of Noah. It was given as a saving-sign of God’s everlasting love-covenant between Him and every living thing upon the Earth (vs. 13-15). A sign is something that points to a greater reality. This beautiful array of God’s love-light was bowed not towards earth as a war bow, but towards Heaven where Jesus would leave His throne, bending low to rescue humanity.

Noah’s flood was one of judgement because the world was found to be corrupt to the core. Fallen angels had cohabitated with people and the only fully human beings on the planet were Noah and his family. He was not perfect by any means and had sin in his blood from Adam, but he had a living relationship with God. He was friends with God and walked with Him. Noah, whose name means “rest,” found grace in God’s eyes because he trusted Him. It was grace that made him a man of integrity.

The ark, a grand picture of Jesus, held Noah and his family safe while the rains of wrath fell 40 days and 40 nights. But generations later, our true Ark, Jesus Himself, bore the full wrath of God on our behalf and was judged for our sins so we who believe could be forever forgiven and reign in His righteous.

On the cross, the Light of the World was split open releasing the fullness of His rainbow glory on us, His children. Like Joseph’s coat-of-many-colors, Jesus’s salvation shawl of splendor now covers us with His favoritism and favor. And because Christ is in you, you are a glory carrier! His light never shows up your mistakes but magnifies your flawless state before your Father. In His light, you are a sparkling diamond hewn from the Rock of Ages!

“Living within you is the Christ who floods you with the expectation of glory!” Colossians 1:27 TPT

Just following Isaiah 53, the chapter revealing our beautiful Suffering Servant and Sin-Bearing Savior, Isaiah 54 records Daddy God saying, “To Me, this is like the time when I vowed that the waters of Noah’s flood would never again cover the earth. Now I vow to you that I will neither be angry with you nor rebuke you. Even if the mountains were to crumble and the hills disappear, my heart of steadfast, faithful love will never leave you, and My covenant of peace with you will never be shaken” (vs 9-10, TPT).

This resplendent rainbow is a reminder of Jesus’s finished work at the cross and His endless supply that flows from His blood that washed you clean and makes all things new. You are no longer living in the old covenant of the law, but you are fully forgiven, alive in Christ, who is your new and living covenant of scandalous grace! You have peace with your Papa and are free from all condemnation because you have been justified by what Jesus has done not what you do.

Beloved, He knows what you’ve been going through. He sees the storm raging in your heart. But when all you see is the darkness rolling in, remember, even the night shall be light about you in His healing presence. He is the One who is robed in a cloud with a rainbow around His head where His endless thoughts of you are thoughts of passion and promises fulfilled (Psalm 139:11,17, Revelation 10:1)! When the rainbow appears, the Lord says, “I will [earnestly] remember My covenant…(Genesis 9:13 AMPC). Even when you don’t remember, He does because He can never forget His Son’s perfect sacrifice! Now your part is to simply receive.

It’s no wonder the devil, a created fallen thief and defeated foe, who cannot create a thing but seeks to copy our magnificent Creator and deceive His own, has stolen the glorious rainbow for his agenda, ambushing the hearts of those the Father pursues. Rainbow colors come from light. The enemy is darkness and can only offer a counterfeit to keep the broken bound and imprison them in an identity crisis. True love is not bowing to the serpent so as not to offend. Truth told in love will set the captives free. Supporting the current LGBTQ movement is anti-Christ. Yes, Jesus loves those caught in the lies of Lucifer, but suffered immensely to set them free. It’s because He loves the sinner, that He hates the sin that is destroying the life He paid for. It’s time to stand for Truth.

Those caught in the trap of confusion and the pit of pain by trying to be someone they are not, are longing for true acceptance and belonging. They belong in the Father’s house. And only the true gospel will usher them in. From Heaven’s perspective, it’s clear the reason satan is working so hard to force his falsities by using the fake rainbow and the ones indoctrinated by it, is because there is a real revival river of rainbow glory raging towards this community. PRIDE comes before the fall (Proverbs 16:18)…and when it does, those who are found on their knees will fall right into the arms of their Savior where they will hear the Father speak over them, “You are My son (daughter), chosen and marked by My love, pride of My life” (Luke 3:22 MSG).

My prayer is simply agreeing with Abba for their salvation. I pray their hearts are opened to hear Jesus only and how He came to forgive them of their sin and give them a substituted life. I pray they encounter the King who gave His everything and then choose to accept His identity as their own. I decree and declare the rainbow belongs to Jesus and by the authority given to us in His resurrection, “we the Kingdom” take it back in His Glorified Name!

Chosen one, like the lyrics released by Cyndi Lauper in the 80’s, hear Holy Spirit sing over you now, “I see your true colors shining through. I see your true colors and that’s why I love you. So don’t be afraid to let them show, your true colors…true colors are beautiful, like a rainbow”…His! You are His! Your identity can only be found in Christ. Nothing or no one else will satisfy your soul until you believe that!
