Are you wrestling or RESTING?

“And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in Me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in Me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!”‭‭John‬ ‭16:33‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Beloved, are you wrestling or RESTING? As believers, our default mode should be walking in peace by RESTing in His love…not walking in worry with an intermittent peace here and there.

We’ve been fulltime RVing for more than a month now. And already we’ve driven through 7 states and stayed in countless beautiful locations. And yet, none of those physical experiences have been my peace.

I have trials and challenges like anyone. But Jesus Himself is my Peace. And my resting comes from living out of my place in Him.

What does that mean? True peace comes from knowing you are forever forgiven and have been made the righteousness of God in Christ. And that Papa is only relating to you according to His Son because of the cross.

His resurrection (and yours) was God‘s declaration that you are eternally innocent in His eyes!

Once you believe you are His spotless favored one by His Son’s perfect work, you’ll no longer wrestle the waves of guilt, performancism, anxiety or depression. But you’ll learn to lay still in His arms and let His waves of love by the Word wash over you instead, while letting Jesus fight your every battle.

“Our faith in Jesus transfers God’s righteousness to us and he now declares us flawless in his eyes. This means we can now enjoy true and lasting peace with God, all because of what our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, has done for us. Our faith guarantees us permanent access into this marvelous kindness that has given us a perfect relationship with God. What incredible joy bursts forth within us as we keep on celebrating our hope of experiencing God’s glory!”‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:1-2‬ ‭TPT‬‬
